Frame Size Guide: How To Measure Your Eyeglasses
The first number— the lens size — represents the horizontal width of the lenses. Generally, the eye size of most eyeglass frames ranges from 40 mm to 62 mm.
The second number — the bridge size — is the distance between the lenses. In other words, it's the size of the "bridge" of the frame that rests on your nose. In most cases, the bridge size of eyeglass frames ranges from 14 mm to 24 mm.
The third number — the temple length — is the length of the "stems" of the frame, measured from the frame hinge to the back tip of the temple. Temple lengths generally range from 120 mm to 150 mm.
Often a small square (rather than a dash) will separate the eye size and the bridge size on the frame.

The history of Spyder is based on the creation of ski clothing, which still makes up the mainline today. The brand was created by David Jacobs. This famous athlete has repeatedly won national competitions in Canada and was even the coach of the national ski team. In 1972, the athlete, successful manager, and designer founded his own company called Jacobs Corporation, which introduced to the market a collection of children's ski clothing, as well as adult clothing and bicycle accessories. Financial difficulties and great competition did not allow the Jacobs Corporation to exist for a long time.
But already in 1978, Jacobs again organized manufacturing production right at home in the kitchen and the well-known sports brand Spyder was launched. Today Spyder is a leader in ski manufacturing. Combinations of style and original design, coupled with innovative technologies, are the hallmark of the company. The spider logo can be seen on the clothes of all American skiers and their coaches. Over the years, the brand has expanded the product line from just professional ski wear to include into portfolio the Spyder Eyewear line with a range of high-quality performance and lifestyle frames that are perfect for today's city dwellers.
A pioneer for performance and quality the Spyder brand is known for high quality, technically oriented ski equipment and accessories for adults and kids. The Spyder eyewear collection fuses technology and performance to showcase unmistakable original style, superior protective characteristics, top-quality materials, and a fashionable design that blends perfectly with both sportswear and streetwear. The indisputable authority of the brand gained over the years of development, and a wide range of frames and sunglasses, created with special attention to detail, make the brand in demand for connoisseurs of an active lifestyle.
