Size Guide

Frame Size Guide: How To Measure Your Eyeglasses

Lens width Lens width

The first number— the lens size — represents the horizontal width of the lenses. Generally, the eye size of most eyeglass frames ranges from 40 mm to 62 mm.

The second number — the bridge size — is the distance between the lenses. In other words, it's the size of the "bridge" of the frame that rests on your nose. In most cases, the bridge size of eyeglass frames ranges from 14 mm to 24 mm.

The third number — the temple length — is the length of the "stems" of the frame, measured from the frame hinge to the back tip of the temple. Temple lengths generally range from 120 mm to 150 mm.

Often a small square (rather than a dash) will separate the eye size and the bridge size on the frame.

New Polaroid Eyewear SS22 collection | ENJOY A WORLD OF COLORS

Most people associate Polaroid with instant photographs and sunglasses with polarized lenses. Despite the long list of inventions made by the founder of the company, Edwin Herbert Land, it was thanks to the invention of plastic polarized lenses in 1937 that Polaroid gained world fame. Land named the brand Polaroid Eyewear, and to this day, the company created the best polarized sunglasses and stylish optical frames. Innovative technologies and ultra-fashionable design are two components of the success of the Polaroid brand, and the company's credo is always to be ahead of time, creating excellent high-grade products that improve the quality of human life.
