Acetate propionate, or more simply Nylon, is another popular plastic material which is commonly used for glasses production. It has good temperature resistance, but it should not be overheated not to spoil a thing.
It has almost the same characteristics as Acetate being stronger - which is a plus, but can only be dyed with simple colors and can be felt unnaturally - which is a minus. Because of nylon's properties to be lightweight, easily molded and having good flexibility, this kind of plastic is popular for production of sports, safety or wraparound frames.
