Bally was founded as a shoe manufacturer in Schönenwerde, Switzerland in 1851. Starting with handcrafted elastic bands for women's clothing and luxury shoes, the brand has evolved into a company renowned for more than just leather goods. In 2000, a new round of success began for the fashion house - in addition to traditional products, footwear and leather goods, the Bally brand began to produce premium clothing for men and women. The clothing of the brand, like its shoes, was distinguished by a classic style, restrained colors, and this is what was valued by people who prefer comfort and sophistication in clothing. A line of sunglasses and optical frames was also launched soon. The fashion house acquired the status of an international brand, but its main office is still located in Switzerland.
Bally products are mainly focused on successful and, accordingly, wealthy people. However, if earlier it was believed that only people over 40 could afford products under the Bally brand, now they can increasingly be found on younger people. In the new collections of sunglasses, the Bally designers managed to combine the classics with a touch of retro style and modern shapes and colors. Thanks to colored lenses - yellow, pink, green - the spring-summer collection is filled with a sense of carefreeness. For a more understated look, vintage horn frames or sophisticated metal arms can be used to create extraordinarily elegant images.
